Columbia College is proud to announce that Columbia's newest professional orchestra, the Columbia Chamber Orchestra, will be in residence during the 2019-2020 season.  The orchestra will perform three concerts this season, starting on Sunday afternoon December 8, 2019 performing Handels Messiah with the Columbia Chamber Orchestra Festival Chorus, and our four fabulous soloists who are well known to Columbia audiences.  An afternoon with Amadeus, an all Mozart concert on Sunday afternoon February 9, 2020.  And a program of all string orchestra repertoire entitled Glorious Strings on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at 3:00 pm.
